ElseLife is a creative storytelling experience for interactive fiction, AI-assisted story creation, quizzes, and a story community. This policy applies to the ElseLife website and features operated by us.
The current site is a product preview. Some features and data flows may change as the service develops; we will update this page when they do.

Depending on the features you use, you may enter story preferences, character and plot details, quiz answers, story text, and other content. You may also provide account details if sign-in is enabled for your session.
Please avoid entering sensitive personal information about yourself or other people into story prompts or public posts.
3. Stories, quiz results, and local storage
In the current preview, stories, reading progress, quiz results, favorites, and reader preferences may be saved in your browser’s local storage so they remain available on that browser. Clearing browser site data may remove this locally saved information.
If account features are enabled, sign-in and related account data may be handled by the configured authentication provider. The exact provider and data flow depend on the deployment configuration.
4. How information is used
Information is used to provide the features you request, remember your choices and progress, display stories you choose to publish, maintain the service, and respond to support or safety issues.
Story and quiz inputs may be processed to produce the requested experience. We do not sell your personal information.
5. Sharing and third-party services
Content you choose to publish in the story community may be visible to other visitors. Keep private details out of anything you publish.
Links to Discord and Instagram take you to services operated by others. Their own privacy policies and terms apply when you use those services. Hosting, authentication, or generation providers may also process information needed to deliver an enabled feature.
6. Retention and your choices
For data stored locally, you can remove it by clearing ElseLife site data in your browser. If account-based storage or public publishing is enabled, use the relevant account or content controls, or contact us through our official Discord or Instagram channels to ask about access or deletion.
Some information may need to be retained when required by law or to protect the service and its users.
7. Children
ElseLife is not designed for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to an account-based feature, contact us through one of the channels above.
